Useful Tips

Have you tried sanded pastel paper? It's so much fun!

The example on the left was done on Art Spectrum Colourfix Coated Pastel Paper with Neocolor II.

First apply crayon on the cool zone, move the paper to the warm zone and blend with a colour shaper. The crayon will melt and quickly saturate the area.

Icarus Drawing Board to the CPSA

An Icarus Drawing Board will be donated to the Colored Pencil Society of America for the 17th Annual International Exhibition that will be held in Atlanta, GA, July 28 - August 1, 2009.

More details will be announced by the CPSA.
